Heritage workshops and cultural activities under the theme ‘UAE Folk Arts’ inviting visitors to take part in traditional programmes while also learning about the nation’s development through the ages. The festival also features a reading corner including a collection of books for both adults and children, and will host activities for children to promote reading, creativity and sharing knowledge. Dubai International Arabic Calligraphy Exhibition
The exhibition presents works from more than 50 international calligraphy artists. Dedicated sections for Classic, Modern and Illuminated calligraphy works will be complemented by the collection of His Excellency Mohammad Al Murr, at Wafi Mall, until April 30.

City Overdrive
The annual modified car show rolls back into town for its 3rd edition. The 10-day event will see a collection of more than 85 modified, super-tuned, 4X4 and classic cars on display, alongside thrilling activities and underground parties for auto enthusiasts. Modified cars on display will include the Devil 16, the original Batmobile from the 1989 set of Batman, a Rolls Royce monster truck, mini coopers and Italian supercars. At City Walk Dubai, until April 22.

Wellness Week
Harvey Nichols Dubai are hosting a series of live conversations with professionals, dedicated to wellness with activities such as yoga, meditation classes, newly-debuted brand demonstrations, and beauty tutorials. Today, conversation on hair health and athleisure beauty at 5.30pm. Until Friday.
