4 Things to do in UAE this weekend

The Numaish Summer Show

The Numaish Summer Show is going to bring together a host of designers including Farah Sanjana, Priyanka Khemka and Urvashi Kaur for the women, as well as jewellery and accessories, a smattering of kids’ and men’s wear and home décor retailers. It really is an all-encompassing show taking place under one roof from 11am-9pm, on Friday and Saturday at the Conrad Hotel, Dubai. We’re going to get styled by Anavila, Upasana and Rahul N Anushka.

Movies, music and more will be on offer at the Dubai Creek Harbour Promenade this weekend, starting from tonight. RiseDCH will be jam-packed with free family entertainment also including immersive technology and tasty treats. This week’s free movie screenings have a superhero theme, with the 1978 classic Superman the Movie – a firm favourite round these parts. Fly on down for more activities.

Maifest is the traditional German celebration that marks the arrival of spring and it is on at the Grand Hyatt Dubai for a fifth year running.

Cheers, oompah, Lederhosen and pretzels are the name of the game. Dance and sing along to the tunes of the Die Kirchdorfer band, flown in all the way from Munich.

Enjoy German favorites such as Kalbsbratwurst, Spargel, Erdbeerschnitte or Veal Schnitzel and the finest German beverages in the air-conditioned Maifest tent. On until May 6.
