5 things to do in Dubai this weekend

This weekend is marked by the end of the 2016-2017 season of Global Village (and most of us are bawling). Despite that, the season ends with a bang with Indian artist Farhan Akhtar taking the stage.

Dubai’s quirkiest hotel – The Rove is teaming up with Freshly Ground Sounds for some homegrown beats. Enjoy some relaxing music from UAE bands in a laidback environment. The free-to-watch concert will be happening every Friday of the month.

A Broadway favourite and pop culture standard, Grease-inspired many of the youth to don their leather jackets and listen to rock ‘n’ roll. From April 7-13th, Dubai residents can enjoy the famous musical (and film) that tackles teenage life and the pangs of love. All with a healthy dose of 1950’s Americana.
