Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi introduces ‘Pink Parking’

Al Wahda Mall in Abu Dhabi city has introduced pink parking for women.

The mall has allocated over 80 parking bays, reserved for women known as ‘Ladies Parking’, making it the first mall in Abu Dhabi to have led the way.

The mall has 350 plus stores and spans across an area of 3.3 million square feet, the mall attracts around 30million visitors annually on average, more than 50 % of which are women.

Mohammed Nauman Thakur, General Manager, Al Wahda Mall said: “Reserved parking spaces for women shoppers, encourages them to visit the mall more often and eases out their woes to look out for parking giving them a feeling of oneness with the mall. We are looking at aligning our mall initiatives with that of the government, and provide women with pink parking bays known as ‘Ladies Parking..”

The mall is also introducing ‘H.E.R. TUESDAYS’ another ladies special initiative that will be offer more discounts and privileges every Tuesdays for all women shoppers, between 10am to 3pm
