Ingredients
Arabic bread, brown, big 4-5
Chicken breast, cut into strips 250 gms
Garlic, finely chopped 2 pods
Couscous ½ cup
Tabbouleh ½ cup
Hummus ½ cup
Tomato,big, chopped 1
Mint leaves, coarsely chopped ¼ cup
Onion, green 2 stalks
Sumac 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1tbsp
Olive oil 2 tbsp
Salt and chilli flakes to taste
Method
Combine 1 cup of water and couscous in a bowl. Let it stand for 30 minutes. Drain and squeeze couscous to remove excess water. Set aside.
Toss chopped garlic and chicken strips in olive oil till cooked. Transfer to a bowl.
Add couscous, chopped tomatoes, mint leaves, green onions, tabbouleh, hummus, sumac, lemon juice, salt, chilli flakes and olive oil.
Spread the mixture on one side of the Arabic bread, wrap it tightly and heat in a pre-heated oven for 5-7 minutes.
Cut into halves and serve with garlic sauce or hummus.
