Set in the languorous backdrop of Goa, Finding Fanny is a different kind of film. It is a welcome relief from the mindless violence and fantasies but nevertheless there is humour, mystery, sex, romance, and murder.
Naseeruddin Shah plays the wizened post-master Ferdie who sets off an adventure with Angie (Deepika Padukone), Rosie (Dimple Kapadia), Pedro (Pankaj Kapoor), and Savio (Arjun Kapoor), in a beat-up car, to look for Fanny to declare his undying love before he hits the grave.
You slide into your cinema chair and just flow with the story that never loses pace. The tranquil landscape, the chatter of the characters, the dark humour and the occasional spurts of witticism keep you glued to the narrative.
You must go and see the movie that runs just over 105 minutes.
