K V Shamsudheen, an Indian social worker who has been living in UAE since the ’70s conducts regular money management classes for Indians, especially those who belong to the lower and middle income groups.
K V Shamsudeen established the Pravasi Bandhu Welfare Trust, an organisation dedicated to assisting troubled lower-and middle-income non-resident Indians (NRIs) in the South Indian state of Kerala in 2001. The group offers a wide range of services including finance education for low and middle income NRIs living in GCC countries.
Since setting up the organisation, Shamsudeen has conducted more than 250 financial awareness programmes across the GCC and in India, 500 interactive radio programmes and 50 TV programs and 50 TV programs.
