Launch police complaints back home through Video Calls

kerala policeKerala Government is soon to launch a first of its kind high tech facility for reporting grievances when Kerala’s home minister Ramesh Chennithala recently spoke at an event in Dubai on Thursday.

Through the NRI Cell in Police stations, Indians in UAE and overseas will be able to lodge complaints through video-conferencing. The government is conducting a feasibility study on arranging video conferencing facilities from Abu Dhabi and Dubai to the NRI (Non-Resident Indian) Cell at the state’s home department.

According to Chennithala, property disputes and land encroachment complaints top the list of police complaints filed by Non-Resident Keralites (NRKs).
