Women from the city of Ludhiana redefined the concept of a kitty, adding to it the wonder of wanderlust, giving a free rein to the explorer in them. This time, the kitty took 78 women to Dubai to experience exotic Arabic life to the hilt.
Sarabha Nagar resident Shammi Bindra, who was one of the key organizers, said the members of Sarabha Ladies Club had recently visited Nepal and were eager for a Dubai trip, which was finalized in October. “Anju Bawa, a friend of ours, helped us get a package for all the members,” said Bindra.
Sarabha Nagar resident Meenu Aggarwal said they boarded the Shatabdi and reached Delhi airport at night, from where they took a flight to Dubai. “We reached Dubai on the morning of January 15. At first, we paid obeisance at the gurdwara in Jebel Ali. Although managing 78 people was not easy, we did have fun,” said Meenu.
