New Concourse for A380, but no flights to India

newairEmirates Airlines will now fly its prestigious A380 from its spanking new concourse termed Concourse A, Terminal 3. EK003 scheduled for departure at 1430 hrs from Dubai to Heathrow, London became Concourse A’s first flight, ushering in a new era in Dubai’s aviation history.

Emirates is the world’s largest operator of A380 aircraft. It has a fleet of 31 super-jumbos while another 59 are on order. It will have total 90 aircraft by 2017. Over 11.5 million passengers have flown on the airline’s A380 in past four years..

The A380 currently serve Amsterdam, Auckland, Bangkok, Beijing, Hong Kong, Jeddah, Johannesburg, Kuala Lumpur, London, Manchester, Munich, New York, Paris, Rome, Seoul, Shanghai,, Sydney, Toronto, Tokyo, Melbourne, Moscow and Singapore. And we hope one day soon a city in India !!
